FOUR FUNDAMENTAL PRINCIPLES TO AVOID BIBLE ISSUE CONFUSION
1 Cor. 2:5: That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in
the power of God.
Acts 17:11: These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they
received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures
daily, whether those things were so.
2 Tim 3:16: All scripture is . . . profitable for doctrine, for reproof,
for correction ...
2 Tim 3:17: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto
all good works.
1 Sam. 3:1: And the word of the LORD was precious in those days; there was
no open vision.
1 Sam 3:19: . . . the LORD was with him, and did let none of his words
fall to the ground.
2 Tim 3:15: . . . the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise
unto salvation ...
WHICH BIBLE WAS PRIMARILY INSTRUMENTAL IN YOUR SALVATION
AND WHICH SHALL JUDGE YOU?

1 Pet 1:23: Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of
incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, ... shall judge him in the
last day.
Rom. 10:17: So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
WHICH BIBLE PRIMARILY FED YOU AND CAUSED YOU TO GROW IN THE LORD?

may grow thereby:
Acts 20:32: . . . the word of his grace, which is able to build you up . .
.
Matt. 4:4: . . . Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that
proceedeth out of the mouth of God

Eph. 5:26: That he might sanctify and cleanse it (church) with the washing
of water by the word,
Psa. 119:9: Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed
thereto according to thy word.
1 Th. 2:13: . . . when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us,
ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of
God, which
effectually worketh also in you . . .
HOW IMPORTANT IS THE WORD OF GOD?
Psa 138:21: . . . thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.
Jer. 23:28: . . . he that hath my word, let him speak my word faithfully.
WHICH BIBLE SHALL WE PREACH, WITNESS, AND USE FOR DOCTRINE?
2 Tim. 4:2: Preach the word . . . reprove, rebuke, exhort with all
longsuffering and doctrine.
Heb. 4:12: For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than
any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and
spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts
and intents of the heart.
Titus 1:9: Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he
may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers.

unto salvation . . .

purified seven times.

holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.
2 Tim 3:16,17: All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is
profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in
righteousness:

Jer. 36:1-4: . . . this word came unto Jeremiah from the LORD, saying,
Take thee a roll of a book, and write therein all the words that I have
spoken unto thee against Israel . . . from the days of Josiah, even unto
this day. ... Then Jeremiah called Baruch the son of Neriah: and Baruch
wrote from the mouth of Jeremiah all the words of the LORD, which he had
spoken unto him, upon a roll of a book.
Jer. 36:32: Then took Jeremiah another roll, and gave it to Baruch the
scribe, the son of Neriah; who wrote therein from the mouth of Jeremiah all
the words of the book which Jehoiakim king of Judah had burned in the fire:

voice,

from his neighbour.

which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye.

any private interpretation.

their own destruction.

which are written in this book.
